The station is located about 4.5 mi west of Valley Springs and about 4 mi east of the Calaveras/San Joaquin County line. To reach the station from the County line go southeasterly for on Hwy 12 for about 4.8 mi to a side road right, Pettinger Road. Continue east for 0.2 mi on Hwy 49 to the station on the left. Set the station about 50 ft eastsoutheast of a guyed power pole on the north side of a fence, 45 ft north of the centerline of Hwy 49, about 45 ft westsouthwest of a sign "Pettinger Road", 30 ft westsouthwest of a power pole and 5 ft south of a fence. It is near post mile 4.8. No photos.
