The station was recovered. It is about 3.4 mi northwest of Chowchilla. To reach the station from the intersection of Hwy 99 and Hwy 133 in Chowchilla go northwest on Hwy 99 and the station on the left, and the CHP truck inspection station on the right. The station is inaccessible from the south. Continue northwest on Hwy 99 for 0.8 mi to Vista Avenue, a side road left. (Note: Vista Ave is about 0.2 mi southeast of Harvey Pettit Rd.) Turn left on Vista Ave and go southwest for about 0.1 mi crossing the railroad tracks to a dirt farm road left. Turn left and go southeast for 0.8 mi to the station on the left between the railroad and Hwy 99. Note: the station is also accessible by making a U-turn on Hwy 99 at Vista Ave and going south on Hwy for 0.8 mi to the station on the right. The shoulder is very narrow at this point.
