From the intersection of Hwy 41 and 49, drive southerly on Hwy 41 for 10.4 mi to the intersection with Rd 415, in Coarsegold. Continue southerly on Hwy 41 for 3 miles to Rd 417 to the east and Meadow Ridge Rd to the west, a signalized intersection.  Continue south on Hwy 41 for 0.1 mi and the mark on the right in an area of flat rock outcrop and parking on the shoulder just beyond the rocks. Alternatively, it is 4.9 mi north of the intersection of Hwy 41 and Yosemite Springs Parkway. The mark is about 200 ft north of the entrance to Graydon Kennels on the east and an abandoned side road on the west that is now blocked with several small boulders. It is about 70 ft south of the east end of a billboard, 37 ft west of CL of Hwy 41, at the highest point of a large flat rock outcropping, about 3 ft above the level of the highway.
